DIY SOS... Day Two

The thing about building stuff, as the father-in-law so rightly points out, is that people often look at what you've done and say things like, 'It took you all day to make THAT?' Before anyone gets that chance, it took us most - but importantly not all - of the day to build this.

What is it? It's going to be the monkey enclosure when the illegally imported chimps arrive from China. We've got some chicken wire and bananas to buy, but it's almost ready. Tomorrow we're going to start on the penguin pool at the bottom of the garden and if we've got time we might lay the foundations for the lizard house.

It's basically a bike shed.
